Healthcare Office
The Healthcare Office program prepares students with foundational skills and knowledge they will need to pursue a career in healthcare administration and an entry-level job as a patient service representative.A 6-week paid internship at MaineHealth during the second trimester of this program allows students to experience the workplace while being supported by PAE staff.Students will take courses over 22 weeks that will give them the practical skills needed to work in an office, and work with healthcare-specific terminology. Exposure to electronic healthcare record systems and legal considerations (HIPAA) will prepare them for a 6-week paid internship at a MaineHealth facility.
Students must enroll full-time. Classes are held during the day. Students are required to attend classes both in person and online.

Application Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- US work authorization required for internship
- 228+ CASAS test score
