Bridge to Workforce
This program assists students with an interest in pursuing a career in Healthcare, the Trades, Early Childhood Education and Banking with the English and digital skills they need to take their next step: an entry level position or training program that leads to a career pathway. Students build reading comprehension, speaking, and writing skills.
In addition, they explore the job opportunities available here in Maine and set short and long-term goals for a future career in their chosen field.
Students will be required to take the course Career Planning in a Digital World, which ensures that students have the skills needed to create an effective job search toolkit.
