Portland Adult Education is pleased to welcome new instructors and course ideas to our Enrichment Program. If you have specific teaching skills, interests, hobbies, or expertise that you would like to share with the community, PAE would be delighted to have you submit a course proposal.

Portland Adult Education offers a variety courses each term in three program areas: Academic, Vocational, and Enrichment. Our classes are offered in three semesters: fall, winter, and spring/summer.

Our brochure reaches over 40,000 people and we serve over 6,000 adult students annually. Courses may consist of a one-day workshop or up to 12 weeks of instruction. We work in partnership with several area businesses and organizations and hold our classes at several different locations throughout Portland.

Course Proposal and Instructor Profile Forms

Below are course proposal and instructor profile forms. Please complete and submit the forms for review and consideration. If your proposal is viewed as appropriate for PAE and space is available, you will be contacted for an interview. Proposals are accepted for consideration throughout the year. Due to scheduling deadlines, please be aware that courses for upcoming trimesters are determined 3-4 months in advance.
