Kate Hersom- Executive Director
Kate Hersom serves as the Executive Director of Portland Adult Education (PAE). She brings years of experience in pre-K through grade 12 public education, having worked as both a district and building administrator, most recently as Assistant Director for PAE.
Kate has served on a variety of state and local committees, where she has been a strong advocate for underserved populations. She holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Cambridge College.
A Portland resident for over 20 years, Kate is deeply committed to her community and is proud to lead Portland Adult Education in providing enrichment opportunities and workforce development support for adult learners across the city.
