SERVICES
The Street Academy offers the following
educational services to homeless youth.
- Assistance in enrolling in school of choice or other
educational programs within the community
- Advocacy to reduce the barriers that homeless youth
encounter while pursing their educational goals
- Coordination of transportation
- Preparation for the General Educational Development
(GED) exam
- Support in job attainment. survival and success (Learn
to Earn Employment Program)
- Career exploration and guidance
- Planning for all aspects of college including SAT preparation,
choosing a college, applications, financial aid, scholarships, and fee
waivers
- Academic Assessment (reading & math)
- Tutoring
- Multi-sensory reading

- Photo identification
