College Preparation

this is content
  • If you are an adult with a High School credential who wants to succeed in college, we can help you to achieve that goal. With the support of an advisor, you will develop a plan to improve your academic skills and prepare for community college or university.

    The College Transitions Program includes:
    - Skills assessment and testing
  • - Financial aid, academic, and career advising
  • - Classes to improve essential academic skills

To be eligible for the program, you must have a High School Diploma or its equivalent (HiSET/GED). You must also qualify to enroll in either of the upper levels of Math and English.

For more information about the College Transitions program, please contact the Academic Advisor Anja Hanson, at hansoa@portlandschools.org or by calling (207)-874-8155.
